GDG Sydney Meetup May 2026

Monthly Google Developer Group meetup with technical talks and a dedicated 10-minute segment to connect job hunters with hiring companies.

You'll get technical talks from working engineers and practitioners, including a session on language and communication in tech from a senior technical writer at TAL. The distinctive part here is the dedicated 10-minute hiring block built into the meetup: if you're job hunting in tech, you can pitch yourself directly to companies with open roles, and if you're hiring, you can connect with candidates in the room. It's in-person only at Mantel Group's space, so you'll also get a sense of how one of Australia's top cloud partners operates. The crowd is Sydney's Google Developer Group community, so expect people working across cloud, data, and emerging tech. There's a raffle with JetBrains IDE subscriptions as well.
