$1 Sprint Sydney
Three hours to build something small and get a stranger to pay for it, you'll leave knowing if you can actually sell.
You'll spend three hours building something from scratch and then actually selling it to a stranger, which means you leave with either proof you can do this or clarity that you need a different approach. The format strips away the usual startup theatre: no pitches, no judges, no pretending you have traction. You ideate for 15 minutes, build with mentors circulating, then hit the street or your network to find a buyer. The round table at the end isn't about winning, it's about hearing what 30-odd people managed to pull off in an afternoon. This format has run in KL and Perth. If you've been sitting on the idea of selling something small, you'll find out whether the barrier is actually the idea or just getting yourself to try.
