You'll spend the day building AI solutions for problems Willoughby City Council actually wants solved: smarter traffic flow, real-time parking, tools for local businesses, or sustainable last-mile transport. The morning starts with a hands-on AI workshop, then you'll team up with other builders (or bring your own crew) to prototype and pitch to council leaders and judges. It's deliberately small, so you're collaborating intensely rather than getting lost in a crowd. The top three teams present at the council's 2026 Support Local event, giving your work real visibility beyond the day itself. Food and drinks are covered, and you'll leave with either a working prototype or a solid foundation to build on.
